Walter & his Bear-Wonders
Its really nice to see a fashion crowd smile. To momentarily shed the ego, and remember that what we are witnessing is in its purest form, as spectacle - a performance - an expression of the designer. It seemed absolutely perfect that Walter sent down the finest of bears to the end of the catwalk-and-back, wearing joyful looks for every occasion; suits, jumpsuits, funny jackets, mostly casual. As far as the garments themselves were concerned, they felt a bit watered down from what I normally expect from a Walter show. But perhaps there is a deeper correlation between his choice of models and more 'wearable' collection. These are the men that Walter wants wearing his pieces, and finally they are pieces that can actually be worn.
& then something magic happened

WOW. The two men behind Costello Tagliapietra would LOVVVVVE this because they are such bears.
this is sooo refreshing to see! it is good to know that he is just doing his thing. I LOVE IT, I really do. it inspires me more than all the other perfectly styled avantgarde designershows.
