Reading With Zana 8: The Encens Man
Oh, boys. This extra-special edition of Reading With Zana comes in preparation for my trip next week to Paris for men's fashion week. My usual Encens-related posts usually feature the goddess-women, but every issue has 1 or 2 appearances of men. I think the Encens man projects just as much fantasy as the woman, but in a completely different manner. The aesthetic of dress seems to touch upon a few major motifs; Damir Doma-esque draping / Romantic Dandy Peacock / Free Bohemian / Unexpected Layering. This post is also dedicated to all of the amazing men who I love to photograph, and the amazing men who inspire me with their daring. Sigh... someday I will find this magazine, Seattle is sadly lacking (not surprising I suppose)a place that carries Encens. So thank you for showing bits of it to us much appreciated.
