Forgot my shirt, on purpose
I've almost started to lose track of my fashion taboo's of 2009. See-through shirts (and dresses), bustiers instead of tee's, black lipstick, cut out dresses, studs in inappropriate places, showing skin...and now the (semi) cone bra. Believe it or not, this is THE ONE item that I had been searching for (ok that's a lie, also black bangles...) whenever I went to vintage stores. I had been looking for something black or navy, with slightly more coverage than your average bra, that could be worn as a top with high-waisted items. Its another great addition to my collection of "clothing-that-will-keep-me-single-forever", but fuck it. It makes me so happy. This is the sort of piece that I WILL build an entire wardrobe around.

i got a great pink and black bullet bra from them when i was in london last year. i'm planning to go again and pick up some more stuff this time, probably after berlin though, otherwise i'd grab something for you! also, if you have trouble filling out bullet bras (lord knows i do), look on ebay for bullet bra falsies, they help TONS.

love this post! i'll date myself here, but this is totally bringing me back to the 90's. i had a few of these vintage cone bras (i even dyed one of them), i'd often wear out clubbing. sometimes over sheer shirts ala gaultier. i had a lot of interesting experiences when i wore them, and i'm sure you will too!
