BLACK & WHITE SUMMER

(Dress - DIY / Belt - DIY, but key from a castle / Boots - Fiorentini + Baker/ Bag - Margiela)
A few things, only in NYC
Let me briefly go over a few highlights from the past days; Zach and I went on a quest for shoes (he found the sexiest boots, I ended up ordering shoes online), and first went to Barneys. After bouncing from floor to floor, we ended up on the mens contemporary section. It was a dark stormy morning, and we were the only two shoppers on that level...that is, the only shoppers other than Mr. Marc Jacobs. No big deal. // Yesterday I began my morning by going to an Alexander McQueen sample sale at 9am, where everything was promised to be 80% off. Upon arrival, I saw not one, but three long lines leading into the building. It turned out that there was an open casting call for Sex And The City happening at the same location; one line union, one line non-union, one line sample sale. Although the pieces inside were breathtaking, taking 80% off a $4,000 blazer doesn't do me much good. I left empty handed. // Afterwards I met up with Connie and wandered a bit. Later we saw Agyness Dean on a bicycle. Big whatever.

ABOVE: Made this belt yesterday from one piece of leather. Slashed at different lengths and added buckles, slashed on the other end and punched holes. Its a little claw-like - I like it.
BELOW: A man with an amazing track suit at in the Sex And The City casting line. LUXIRARE, thoughts?

I love New York City stories like that. I have tons of them. That kind of thing only happens in the city.

hahah yes it is amazing.

I was downtown at french roast last night but I didn't see this.

More importantly though, Really loving the fantastic belt you've constructed..I had a really hard time figuring out how to make a belt, but afterwords it seemed very simple...Would like to see more belts/videoart/fashion converging from you!

It's rad to see you in white!

I'd probably freak out over seeing Marc Jacobs though. I am clearly not from the city.

Oh fuck off anon, seriously, its always worth a mention if you see someone of the fame variety, regardless if you gush over it or 'whatever' it....

As always, diggin the outfit from top to toe. You have this awesome eye for what shapes really compliment your slammin' lady frame (try to ignore how creepy that sounded!)
