BOOT STRAP FIRST DRAFT

Process Piece
I've been preparing to make "bootstraps" for a couple of weeks now. Adding on to one's current shoes without permanent implications is right in the trajectory of my accessory thoughts. Every piece takes multiple attempts and reattempts before it reaches its finalized state. This is phase one; stay tuned.

Love that you didn't jazz up your sketches at all; they're honest and adorable. There are so many things you can do with this, I'm excited to see what you come up with next. A 'wing' over the arch of the foot or at the front of the ankle could drastically change a boot's silhouette. A fringed harness could be really sweet, too.

Haha, I'm glad that you like my little line drawings. I'm a big fan of sketches and miniature scale models... There are definitely about a million ways that this can go, first and foremost as you said - altering shape!

So good! I want to see these in your shop. I love your lined paper biro sketches too - even though there is so much freedom with blank paper, I secretly love drawing on lines.

So awesome! Great posts especially lately, by the way! I love the creativity.

What's really crazy is that I just got out of my friggin' four hour night class, and white staring at my shoes, I thought they would look cool with some kind of wings on them!! haha. (Probably from the Jeremy Scott/Adidas thing..but then I thought of those SWEET green shoes on super mario bros 3 for the old Nintendo..and then thought..OH WOW! THOSE would be cool shoes to wear..)

Yea. I wasn't paying attention. HA! Let me know when this stuff is for sale.. Especially if you do some stuff that could work for more casual shoes too!
