AN OPEN LETTER TO DIANA BRINKS

(Scarf & Coat - Stephan Schneider / Bag & Leotard - Margiela / Dress - Diana Brinks / Shoes - Jil Sander)
Talking 'bout the Weather
If I had access to a magic photographer friend who documented my every movement, then I would be taking these photos outdoors where everything appears to be grey and damp. But alas, the indoor self timer will have to do. Its supposed to snow tonight, and I am woefully unprepared. Thank god for my Margiela leotard which, because of its sinfully synthetic fiber content, makes a great insulator and perfectly discreet layering piece to add warmth to any ensemble. Today was also a nice & rare opportunity for me to wear this dress at its full length - usually I knot or tie it to make a shorter dress, or sometimes transform it into a blouse. Dear Diana Brinks - why did you stop making clothing? It really breaks my heart. If you have any extra pieces lying around, I will help rid you of them at any time. Xoxo, zana.

I love this post, especially the first pic. The peice on the wall is great too. I imagine it is being displayed so much differnent that it probably was when it was first being produced. (That is me guessing its vintage)

That dress is perfection incarnate.

Can I just mention that there's an ad on your blog that FREAKED me out, there was some lady floating in the middle of your photo haha!

HEY! Diana Brinks didn't really stop making One of my best firends used to be her intern, and according to her, she just took a break on her line because she had a child - and that is actually pretty normal to do here in Denmark - I'm pretty shure she will be making clothes soon again!
//Thanks for the great blog!
