My legs are hurting from all of the extraneous walking that I've done. I've been navigating myself without a map which feels very nice, except for the occasional times when I can't seem to find important destinations! This morning, I missed my appointment at the Bernard Willhelm showroom because I had written down an incorrect address. Instead of sulking, I walked over to Cash and picked up a pair of sinfully cheap Veronique Branquinho past-season double-buckle boots. They are as comfortable a sneakers, I swear.

I was invited to attend the Postweiler Hauber FW08 presentation last night. After walking back and forth trying to find the gallery space for 15 minutes, I entered this upstairs space and was immediately offered a cup of hot tea! The collection was a collaboration between Raphael Hauber and photographer Heinz Peter Knes. Here's where things get interesting - as I walk up to get my tea, I get a tap on the shoulder, "Zana!" and it turns out to be Meredith's friend Buck, who is studying in Berlin and DATING Heinz Peter Knes. I swear, this world of artists and designers is tiny. It was thrilling to have a friendly face to talk to, and I left with a couple of new buddies and a feeling of comfort. I'm going back to the showspace right now to view the pieces and pick up a small SS09 order...
