I'm blown away by all of the responses to the last video. I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the fruits of my boredom!! I think its important to try to take negative situations and turn them into something worthwhile. I am happily now in NYC - holler!!

Also, since the last post, Mr. UFO! (myspace.com/ufo - soon to be in NYC too) created some much-needed audio additions to the video. I am usually a bit of a sound purist, but somehow Ed was able to translate my mental mania into a seamless soundtrack. So here is MUNICH NIGHTMARE - UFO! REMIX;

Q - Did anyone walk in on you?
A - The spooky thing is - NO! I shot the video around 11:30ish to midnight, and spent the rest of the "night" hanging out in the ladies room. Nobody started coming around until 4am...

Q - By the way must have that top/dress with the hanging thingy's - love it! Did you make or buy?
A - The "top/dress with the hanging thingy's" is the 3-hole dress by Harputs Own! Its actually the same piece that is worn during the first scene, as well as dancing on the loo

Q - How did you do the video where 2 of you come out of the middle?
A - iMovie 'mirror' effect

Q - I need those shoes in my life instantly, where are they from?!
A - The base of the shoe is by Report, but I studded them myself

Q - And it seems as though at one point you put your macbook on the toilet? Hardcore!
A - Totally did.

COULD HAVE BEEN THE WORST DAY EVER

Due to a stupid mistake on my behalf and tight-ass airport protocol, I am stuck in Munich overnight and will be flying into NYC tomorrow (Thursday). I found a camp-out spot in the 2nd floor ladies bathrooms, which seems to be the only place where there are bountiful power outlets. With such a quiet, empty space, I couldn't help but transform it into a runway...

Temporary happiness

Today I had a Susie Bubble moment. Meaning - the lust for sample clothing used for photoshoots, the lingering memories before the pieces are sent back, the wish for ownership. I have written about Rozalb De Mura in the past, and was fortunate to be able to do a story using the FW09 pieces for the FW issue of LURVE Magazine. However my curiosity fell to the menswear, but styled onto a female body. After completing the shoot with the model, I couldn't help but try a couple of the pieces on myself. Whats so amazing about the clothing is the level of craftsmanship, the covert tailoring, fabric that appears to be hard but is actually gentile to the skin. Hidden buttons and zippers, massive amounts of pleated fabric.

Attention to all: the Rozalb De Mura FW09 collection is for everyone, forget gender.

What can I say about Ms Peggy Noland. After much anticipation (e-mails, serendipitous mutual friends, surprising recommendations), Peggy arrived in Berlin and of course I had to invite her over. Elizabeth met her during her Vision Quest roadtrip across the US, and described her to be my "technicolor sister". I will TAKE IT!! This woman has balls, total respect. Not to mention her being one of the sweetest individuals I've met recently!

First of all, THANK YOU for all of the facts & questions! They will surely make my plane right pass by quicker.Next, I present you with an onslaught of photos from Saturday night. We decided to make masks, and I suggested that we create create each others mask. I asked for a cirle and square (which turned into a dripping cube and a diamond), and Adrian asked for an eagle (which turned into winged talons). Behold!
