Against My Intuition
When I think of ACNE, I think of Berliners in Mitte & Kastanienallee - the effortless style that many Americans are not born with, hair pulled back, relaxed-fit trouser, understated yet immaculate. Essentially great, but not exactly my style (I'm a mess). However ACNE's newest collection for FW10 really resonated for me in a few ways, mostly exemplified by the photos above. Note - massive bangles (ANKLE BANGLES!!!), galaxy prints, layered blacks, mixed metals, proportion play, all-around mysticism. I would easily wear both of those looks from head-to toe, and maybe even that forehead makeup if the party was right. Check out the rest of the collection on Style.com, and pay close attention to look 14 because there are some printed silk pants that I might not be able to live without!
