Winter's Men
After being sick for the past couple of days and running around here and there to shows, and coming home to un-inspirational runway shots online, I was met with a breath of fresh air when I entered the PETROU/MAN by Nicolas Petrou presentation today. The collection was styled by menswear genius Robbie Spencer (just look at those boots and headpieces!!!) and garments themselves explored a range of darker tones, and unusally matched textures. I'm especially enamoured with the indigo tye-dye suits, and more casual nylons and sweatshirt jerseys juxtaposed with furry collars and vests. Dear boys: please make this vision in black, navy & charcoal come to life.
