Those of you who regularly read my blog know that lookbook posts from me are few and far between. However when I come across a designer who I feel is doing something really right, I can't help but share! What I like about Asher Levine's collection is the interplay between strength and sensitivity. For instance the leather hotpants (above) made from patched together gator, a grey shawl top that is left raw and unraveling, elbows and knees with exaggerated fabrication that fold in such an elegant way. His pieces are distinctly masculine (which I like) and his material choices blend together effortlessly.
