
For this upcoming season of S/S '12 in New York, I am very excited to reveal that I have been working on custom accessories for the designer Prabal Gurung which will be sent down the runway for his show this coming Saturday. I can't talk too much about the specifics of his collection (or the details of what I've made), but here are a couple of visual teasers of the collaboration. His collection is evocative of femininity, strength, confidence and lightness, so for the accessories we chose to incorporate twisted & knotted rope to break up the hard lines of the leather.
You will have to wait until Saturday to see the finished pieces & collection, but until then please enjoy the preview:
