In early September, I had this funny idea to take a mini European vacation in January, to stop by mens fashion week in Paris, then head on to Berlin for relaxation and adventure! So I booked a 16-day trip, and decided to deal with it when it arrived. 4 months later when the trip was coming up, all sorts of things in my life had changed - and I honestly didn't really have the time to go on this getaway, but it was completely imperative to my mental wellbeing.
Alright - within planning the Berlin section of my trip, my dear friend Adrian and I decided that it would be wise to plan a sort of 'vacation-within-vacation'. After a few lackluster ideas, he suggested visiting the Baltic Sea. After that, there was no further discussion!
So after a few hours on a train, here we are now - and it couldn't be more magnificent. Its cold, overcast, completely empty, and silent. We almost had the entire beach to ourselves. For someone like myself who is constantly surrounded by cityscapes, the presence of a frozen over eroded cliffs, sight-wide expanses of green water, chalk stones, and the sound of the wind on water is in totality, exhilarating.

Picked up some last minute rubber boots, obviously in need of decoration. Above is Adrian, as an ice cream cone. Below is one of my favorite Shakira song titles, "Whenever, Wherever"
