POP SOUK ROUND 3

I attended LadyFag's first Pop Souk one year ago a Hiro Ballroom, then the second Pop Souk in May at Greenhouse. For the third Pop Souk, taking place at The Standard, I could no longer be satisfied as a mere casual observer - for once I had samples to sell, and with an apartment move coming up, clothing and shoes to get rid of as well. Well what is this mystical Pop Souk? As the the founder LadyFag puts it, its "Where downtown folk sell, not sell out!". Somewhere between a caravan of pop-up shops and a swap meet, its a place where a curated group of NY designers, DJ's, personalities, and creatives sell whatever suits their fancy - from the more traditional wares of samples and vintage, to manicures and original portraits.
